What Is Personal Information?
"Personal information" means anything that identifies you, like your name or email address. Anything else is "non-personal information." If I store your personal information with information that is non-personal, the combination is "personal information". If I remove all personal information from some data, then the remaining is "non-personal information".
How does this website get personal information?
- You must give it to me directly via web form, verbally or physical paper. I don’t buy marketing lists. This web site does not use any passive, third-party analytics, cookies or trackers to collect your data.
What do I do with your information once I have it?
- I will use it in the ways for which you’ve given me permission, mainly to provide access to my music, performances or pre-recorded.
- For anyone in the EU, EEA, and Switzerland: I understand GDPR (General Data Privacy Regulations), but my business is not entirely GDPR compliant.
When do I share your information with others?
- When I have asked and received your permission to share it.
- Only when the law requires it, I will notify you about the request unless legally prohibited.
How do I store and protect your personal information?
I am committed to protecting your personal information once I have it. I implement physical and technical security measures. Despite my efforts, if I learn of a security breach, I’ll notify you so that you can take appropriate steps.
I also don’t want your personal information for any longer than you want me to have it. On request, I will provide or destroy any personal information I have about you. I may also destroy records with your personal information at my discretion with or without notification.
You must be 18 years old, or older.
If you are under 18, please do not provide any personal information. Even though my music and all content on this website is suitable for all ages, I would rather find a way to share my music without asking for personal information. If you are a parent and believe that your child who is under 18 has provided me with personal information, please contact me to have your child’s information removed.
What if I change this privacy policy?
I may change this policy and terms. The updated policy will be posted and dated here. If the changes are substantive, I will announce the update here and by email. Your continued use of the site after the effective date of such changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
Isn’t this policy a little overkill?
It may seem so, but this is where the Internet is going: the public will be given greater transparency and control over their personal information. At least I hope so. I would like to try to meet all reasonable regulations as best I can.
