Tooly Look

1980 - 1983

Tooly Look was my pop/rock band, partnership and band of brothers. I think we wrote and arranged over 100 original songs between us during that time. We rehearsed every day and could perform our songs a capella. I remember thinking we could play them in our sleep.

We all keep in touch and whenever the subject of a reunion comes up, we take that person aside and smack ’em.

Star Sessions

We had the very good fortune to record at Star Recording Studio in Philadelphia, PA with recording engineer, Dave Moyssiadis and producer Dan Slick. It was a fabulous 24-track studio, with high ceilings, exotic microphones and gold-foil reverbs that revealed exactly how unprepared we were…

We recorded four songs in our first session: Shoes, Telephone Song, Won’t You Always Love Me, and Boyfriend. I will post mp3s when I get the chance. They are squeaky clean, and almost in tune.

We came back twice, I think, for some live recording and one more multitrack session. I will post these mp3s too, when I get the chance.
